Market Data Research Analyst – Eurocommercial

The Role

(Dutch and English speaking; multilingual Italian, French pre)

In this role, you will support the Investor Relations Officer and will be part of a small, dynamic, and multicultural team researching market trends in the real estate sector, with a focus on shopping centres. You will support a variety of research initiatives that help shape strategic decisions across multiple countries.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career with a solid foundation in research methods and a passion for understanding consumer behaviour and market shifts. You will thrive here if you are analytical, proactive, and not afraid to think outside the box. Travel is required for research fieldwork and international collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full lifecycle of research projects, from planning, design to final delivery:
    • Assist with questionnaire development, data cleaning, coding, and tabulation.
    • Conduct desk research, analyse various data (consumer data, footfall data, turnover data etc.), and contribute to insightful reporting on the data.
    • Coordinate and liaise with external fieldwork partners and internal stakeholders.
    • Contribute to qualitative research efforts, including preparing briefs, planning logistics, managing execution (in-house or outsourced), and ensuring actionable reporting.
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality outputs.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a market research agency or similar setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • You are a junior research talent with global curiosity and the drive to grow.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
  • Working knowledge of both quantitative (e.g. surveys, data analysis) and qualitative (e.g. interviews, focus groups) methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 solutions (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with PowerBI, SurveyMonkey SPSS or other data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English and multilingual in Italian and French is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for learning.
  • Willingness to travel for research and project work.
  • Genuine interest in real estate, retail market trends, international market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to approach problems and data in innovative ways.
