Frank Aalbers is Head of Asset Management Residential of the Netherlands and Belgium. Frank is operationally responsible for the residential platform and manages EUR 5BN AuM with his team of 12 professionals in both countries. Frank is a member of the European Residential Steering Group and leading Innovations, ESG and Social Impact initiatives in residential.

Prior to his current role, Frank was a member of the EMEA Strategy & Research team. He joined the firm as an associate in 2015. His key responsibilities were forecasting the Dutch real estate markets and he had a key role in the underwriting for acquisitions and dispositions of the Dutch Funds.

Before joining CBRE IM, Frank worked as Head of Research for real estate advisory firm MVGM. His main tasks were shaping and leading the research department and he held responsibilities for all related research activities including advisory. An important part of his work was professionalizing the research department and the development of new research tools.

Frank earned a Master degree in Economic Geography from the University of Nijmegen, and holds a BBA in Real Estate. Furthermore, Frank successfully completed Executive Education courses from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and University of Cambridge.
